The Opportunity

Are you a proactive, ambitious, commercially aware and modern-thinking Sales Director looking for a game-changing new challenge?

You’ll be joining a rapid growth entrepreneurial manufacturing business that has doubled turnover in recent years and expects to double again in the next 3-year timeframe!You’ll join the exec leadership team as Sales Director – working closely with the MD, FD and Ops Director to supercharge further growth and profit.

You’ll manage the Sales Function (headcount of 7 initially).  You’ll embed professional and modern sales strategy and have previous experience of managing, coaching and mentoring sales professionals.  You’ll  pride yourself on an ability to bring out the very best in others.

This is a customer facing, interactive and hands on role.  You’ll be building vital relationships with current and target corporate clients and you need previous experience of working with high profile large businesses / corporate customers.

This is a relatively high value product (circa £50k+ per unit) and previous experience of capital equipment sale would be extremely beneficial. It’s an on-site manufacturing group and experience of working in strong partnership with the operational function to ensure customer expectation is expertly managed is also key.You have chance to make a real difference here – to both the business and to your own career / earning potential.  There is genuine opportunity to gain an equity share alongside significant annual bonuses (£25,000+).You’ll be a key voice in the boardroom and have chance to influence decision making, direction and overarching strategy.  It’s a hugely talented, aspirational and collaborative leadership team within a down to earth but professional and highly ambitious group.

  • You’ll be a Sales Director within a manufacturing business currently.  You are likely selling reasonably high value capital equipment to a range of customers.

  • You’ll have a bag of wins to talk through when it comes to winning profitable and high value new business from corporate clients.
