Finance Manager / Senior Management Accountant | Harrogate (hybrid) | £50,000 – £55,000

The Opportunity
BRILLIANT opportunity for someone ambitious & studying toward ACCA or CIMA (or newly qual) – you’ll join as finance manager (effectively number 1 in finance) for a portfolio business within an agile PE Group.

This is a career fast track. You’ll basically be the primary finance contact for a £10m+ turnover business (with support from a modern group head of finance who looks after other investments within the structure).

You’ll have chance to work with the MD, commercial director and PE investors on a daily / weekly basis – incredible exposure from the get go.  Lots of autonomy, lots of scope to add value and a real chance to supercharge your career (and earning potential).  You’ll have support, guidance and encouragement from a qualified Group FD. 
A genuinely rare role for someone part qualified.  You need to be commercially astute, bright, keen to develop and have great analytical skills.  

You need to have

– Commitment to complete CIMA / ACCA / ACA.
– Previous experience of management accounting and reporting.
– Clear commercial acumen and genuine drive / ambition.
– A proactive approach to developing reporting, adding value, bringing insights and ideas to the table
– Great analytical skills / Excel ability.

Commutable York Harrogate or Leeds – hybrid working.

£50,000 – £55,000 + suite of great benefits including 15% annual bonus.
